Case Study 1 - Document Conversion
A financial institution was in the process of converting their word processing documents from WordPerfect to Microsoft Word. A major part of this conversion is maintaining precise formatting specifications while converting all policy, procedure and form documents.
- Converting documents from WordPerfect to Word
- Retain precise formatting of original documents
- Establish collaborative environment between both project management teams
The Client sent hard copy and electronic files on CD to Admin and Beyond via common carrier.
Admin and Beyond created a workspace for the client on our Central Desktop®. Original files were uploaded to establish a document history, workflow routing, deadlines and approval process. Files were then converted, formatted, proofed and approved according to the Client's specific guidelines.
Central Desktop provided the perfect project management environment. The project team, comprised of desktop publishers, editors, and subject matter experts on the Client-side, were alerted by email when documents had been routed to the next level of processing. At this time, the team member would log in and check out a document to signify to the group that it was being reviewed or revised. The Client, also alerted by email as to the staus of each document, was able to log in and check the overall status of their project and download completed documents as they became available. Questions pertaining to the project were addressed immediately through the Central Desktop comments section to maintain a record of all communications and updates on the project.
Upon completion of the project, all original hard copy files and CDS, as well as, a copy of all document history and communications on the project collaboration site were backed up, burned to CD and sent to the Client.
By using Admin and Beyond’s services, the Client was able to complete this large project comfortably with exisiting staff, while maintaining a somewhat normal routine with minimal interruption. The Central Desktop provided our Client with the comfort of being able to track progress, answer questions and see document history for each file, in one convenient place. The ability for every team member to engage in exchanging feedback made the transfer of important information immediate and efficient for the whole team.

Case Study 3 - Personalized Patient Service
A doctor has two offices. She employs a full-time staff at one location, but can't find a reliable person willing to work minimal hours at the location she occupies one day per week. This second office really needs to be monitored for new appointments and patient schedule changes.
- Establish a phone line
- Transfer phone calls to the new service to be answered by Admin and Beyond
- Establish a connection with the Client's appointment calendar
Admin and Beyond establishes a phone line through our Virtual PBX® Partnership to have the Client's phone calls transferred to us, as needed. The calls are therafter answered as if the Admin and Beyond representative is present in the Client's office.
A direct link to the Client's appointment calendar was established for the purpose of updating and making patient appointments so customer service could be seamlessly maintained.
The Client can be secure in knowing that instead of leaving messages, her patients have the personalized service they have become accustomed to and can make appointments or changes, as needed.
